~Aiden~
We had been trying for a baby for a couple months and decided to quit for a while, so I did not get my hopes let down over and over again. On February 28th, I just got a weird feeling that I might be pregnant. I took a test and there it was the blue "Pregnant".
I was so excited I text everyone in my contacts. My husband was pretty relaxed (he never gets to excited) about it.
Like my last pregnancy, everything ran smoothly until the end.
At 36 weeks I was put on bed rest, but was able to stay at home this time.
I did pretty well with the doctor's instructions, of course I had little bit of a heard time at first.
I had my final check up before my scheduled C-Section. Everything looked great, even my blood pressure. Just for precautions I was still on bed rest.
It was right before Halloween and I wanted to take C to the pumpkin patch, so we all loaded up and headed to the patch. And he had a blast like I knew he would.
Later that night we got him all tucked in bed. As I bent over it felt like my water broke. I was excited, that we might have our little bundle of joy a little early. I got a rude awakening when I went to the bathroom. It was not my water breaking. It was my placenta ripping away from my uterus (which I did not know at the time). Thank heavens my husband has knowledge in the medical field and hurried me to the hospital.
When we got there it was minutes and I was wheeled back to the operating room for an emergency C-Section. Mommy and baby were just fine though
Just as we thought everything was going to be okay, Aiden stopped breathing. He spent the next week in the NICU. As a mother it is heart wrenching to see your little precious angel with all those wires hooked up to them. I had a very difficult time while A was in the NICU. I also had a little boy at home that needed his mommy so I could not stay beside A's side like I felt I needed to. My husband and I would go up everyday and visit for majority of the day, but still to me that wasn't enough. Finally my little man got to come home on a clean bill of health.
